The EMS-050DE Data Logger is a self contained multi channel logger, incorporating it's own internal rechargeable lithium Ion battery. The logger is supplied in a high impact PVC enclosure rated with IP68 protection including connectors using the proven technology of the Environmental Data Services series of data loggers. The logger is designed to work in the most hostile of conditions and will work submerged to a depth of 30 meters. The EMS-050DE Data Logger is capable of logging multiple Analogue channels, Up to 3 Digital Input states configurable for Alarm, Pulse, Tipping Bucket Rain Gauge event and or Quadrature Shaft Encoder Inputs.

The EMS-050DE Data Logger is designed as a stand alone device incorporating IP68 interface connectors to allow the end user to connect a myriad of external Sensors to suit the most stringent applications. The Environmental Data Services EMS-2001 software provides statistical information for the EMS-050DE Data Logger such as trends and text of analogue input channels, the digital input states and the shaft encoder input channel. In addition, the EMS-2001 software provides an unique feature which allows the end-user to formulate derived channels from both analogue channels and the quadrature encoder channel. The EMS-2001 software incorporates the facility to provide a hyetograph and text functions of logged Digital Events. The incorporation of this data can be interfaced and downloaded to other Environmental Data Services series of equipment.

The EMS-050DE Data logger is supplied with EMS-2001 software for Windows 95 or better operating system, RS232 serial communications cable, Digital/Analogue sensor cable, Lithium Ion Battery Charger/Controller and CD ROM containing Data Sheets, Operational Handbook. Optional EMS-2001L Software provides Pocket PC capabilities.
