The Water Hammer Monitor WHAM-02, provides an ultra compact design and flexible solution for todays water hammer detection. The WHAM Series concept incorporates a high resolution Differential Pressure Transducer, in a high impact PVC enclosure IP68 incorporating the proven technology of the Environmental Data Services high speed series of data logger electronics.

The concept of operation for the WHAM-02 is that the unit is connected to the pressure line which is monitored at approximately 20 samples per second. Upon detection of of percentage variation, the WHAM-02 will log the values for a period of 2, 5, or 10 seconds, resulting in up to 200 data points being logged. This provides a date and time stamp for the Water Hammer Events. The WHAM-02 is supplied in a self contained high impact enclosure which is fitted with a high pressure quick connect fitting for uses with a multitude of configurations including full pipe, pressure mains, water hydrants and household pressure monitoring. The WHAM series of equipment is designed to operate in most hostile environments.

The WHAM-02 provides a compact self contained Water hammer Monitoring system which can be interrogated by Environmental Data Services EMS-2001 Software. The EMS-2001 software provides the user with definable parameters such as logging functions, units of measure, real time display of system parameters, table and graphical presentation of pressure events and provides the flexibility of either local downloads or remote interrogation using either PSN or GSM.
