Critical EPA Alarm Points Safe in EDS Hands
EDS was successfully awarded a very important project with Tenterfield. EDS delivered real time rugged monitoring equipment to continuously monitoring the levels at critical sewer points.
The ease of use of the equipment coupled with rugged long term applications, meant EDS Blue siren equipment was the obvious choice for reliability and peace of mind.
I can also confirm the crews did locate the Kangaroo’s up ahead.
EDS Monitoring Byron
EDS deliver industry leading technology and services to Byron Shire Council. It is always a busy time at EDS during the summer months.
EDS was successful in the design and implementation of a short term sewer flow monitoring project in partnership with Byron Shire Council.
EDS is excited to deliver and work closely with Byron Council to keep the beautiful northern NSW hinterland and beaches prestine.
EDS Awarded Prestigious Melbourne Water Audit
Recently EDS were successful in being award the contract to complete audits of Melbourne Water Billing Sites. These sites are critical for the network of ALL Melbourne retailers.
As part of this EDS carried out at high, medium, and low calibrations at over 18 sites totalling in 54 site entries in week and a half. The team at EDS were committed to early starts and late finishes to deliver a successful project.
Well done to the team for this great outcome.
EDS and Yarra Valley Water
EDS were awarded contract to deliver and commission long term sewer flow monitoring stations for Yarra Valley Water. These SGS are a critical infrastructure supply to ensure regulatory requirements are met. EDS has been heavily involved through both design and implementation phases.
Another benefit of utilising EDS monitoring stations is the ability to have SCADA or 3G telemetry that require ZERO mains power. The EDS units are truly a ZERO Carbon Footprint. This ensure operation for year after year from internal batteries being trickle charge by highly efficient solar panels.
These advancements in technology and EDS ability to delivery tailored component ensure Yarra Valley Water are leading the industry in critical monitoring stations.
EDS and Logan Water Infrastructure
EDS starts 2017 with a project with local Logan Water Infrastructure Alliance. This is a great project for EDS to demonstrate the benefits of the Blue Siren Micro AV and the benefits of wireless real time monitoring. Not only does this allow competitive pricing by delivering accurate reliable data in a real time on the Ziscape Big Data Server, but improves safety to all staff involved.
EDS will be installing and operating a combination of sewer flow monitors and rain gauges. The purpose for this project is to aid in the network calibration by capturing significant rain events and what impacts it has on the network operation.
With the amount of recent rain and flooding this looks to be a great project period. Another successful project to be delivered by EDS.
2015-16 YVW Sewer flow monitoring with ghd
In October 2015 EDS were successful on their tender submission for the 2015-16 short term sewer flow SCAP program for Yarra Valley Water. EDS were contracted by GHD Melbourne. This project consisted of 63 sewer flow meters and 21 rain gauges with installation and operation for a minimum 10 week period. Read more........
EDS supplied over 40 3G micro siren flow meters to city of gold coast
EDS was awarded the contract to supply sewer monitoring equipment to City of Gold Coast. The Micro Siren was selected for the durability, accuracy, but the main focus was on the ability for the 3G communications and Ziscape Server platform.
Melbourne Water Billing audits
EDS was successful in the bid for audit of Melbourne Water Billing Flow Sites. This consisted of 17 sites being audited in low medium and high flow conditions to determine overall meter performance and accuracy.
EDS Awarded Fitzroy River Water Monitoring Program 2015-16
EDS was successful in our bid to undertake open channel sewer flow monitoring with Fitzroy River Water (FRW) over the past two years. The purpose for this gauging is to establish current sewer capacities in wet and dry weather conditions.
By collating the supplied data with rainfall, this enables FRW to prioritise any augmentations or upgrades to the network. The outcomes provide large savings on capital expenditure and increases to the life expectancies of existing assets.
Previously FRW had completed their own in house monitoring using EDS provided equipment, with the economic restrictions of late and limited staffing issues it was established that as a result of the experience and efficiencies of EDS, that FRW would go to market for completion by a qualified service company.
FRW has great confidence in the resulting data due to the transparency offered throughout the projects by EDS. The added dynamic of EDS having their own data analyst has made explanations of anomalies easy and in all cases has led to efficient rectification of the network issues by FRW.
