Seeing is Believing . . . BlueSIREN is the first company in our industry to offer an external Vision-Port on all monitors as a standard build option. The Vision-Port connects to an infrared night vision camera capable of taking pictures during alarming events, high depth, low depth, or at any predefined sample interval.

Images are stored in a secondary multimedia flash and uploaded to the server along with depth, velocity and flow data. The multimedia flash can hold over 100 images if the wireless connection is lost. Images can also be downloaded manually if the wireless data transmitter is not turned on.

Images are used to verify alarm events, eliminate unnecessary field visits and false alarms. Images can also be used to verify monitor accuracy, check if grease is building up in a pipe, determine if the inflow is seeping from the sewer walls during a rainfall event, confirm that overflow screens are clear, and hundreds of other applications.

The Camera Sensor is constructed using impact resistant urethane and encapsulated using optically clear epoxy. Air is fully vacuumed out of each sensor leaving no room for condensation or moisture.

Automated light detection controls power to the infrared LEDs saving power when capturing images during the day.
