Blockage & Overflow Alarms
Level alarms and continuous depth monitoring that warn of blockages and surcharges before they become overflows.
Blockages and surcharges give warning if something is watching. EDS deploys level monitoring through sewer networks that alerts crews to rising wastewater depth, so utilities can react quickly to a blockage, or a surcharge caused by a sewer collapse, before it becomes a spill.
Detectronic's LIDoTT ALARM puts a radar level sensor, battery, modem and aerial into one Zone 0 certified device, suited to deployment throughout sewer networks and in domestic or lateral sewers.
Where flow meters are already installed, the data does the watching too. A steady rise in depth with no rain to explain it points to a developing blockage or sediment build-up, often long before field crews would report it.
How it works
What it helps you catch
- Blockages in main, domestic and lateral sewers
- Surcharges caused by sewer collapses
- Sediment build-up, cleared before the next storm
- Partial obstructions, sags and displaced joints
- Rising risk of a wet weather overflow
Try it
Raise the water. Watch the alarm.
