Pump Station Monitoring

Wet well levels, pump runs and alarms watched around the clock, from the company that built the Pump Station Manager.

Pump stations are where EDS began. The company was founded in 1991 alongside the release of its flagship product, the Pump Station Manager (PSM), and EDS still designs and builds the instruments that keep pump stations under watch.

We supply and install monitoring for wet well levels, pump runs and alarms, and connect it to the SCADA systems you already run. Flow data from the network upstream adds what SCADA alone cannot show: how the catchment responds to rain, and whether pump start and stop levels suit the flows actually arriving.

Utilities have used flow data from LIDoTT Smart sensors to refine pump start and stop levels, reducing both run time and power consumption.

What we provide

Pump Station ManagerThe EDS flagship since 1991, designed and built by EDS.
Wet well levelRadar and pressure level sensing with the LIDoTT R, or EDS ultrasonic level sensors.
Loggers and telemetryEDS EMS data loggers and the 4G Metalog send readings in real time.
SCADA integrationWorks with ClearSCADA, Schneider CITECT, ELPRO and other leading SCADA architectures.

Applications

  • Wet well level and overflow alarms
  • Refining pump start and stop levels
  • Reducing pump run time and power consumption
  • Cross-checking network flow data against pump station records
