Structure Performance & Monitoring

24/7 condition scoring of critical structures with the EDS Asset Score (EAS).

At a glance

  • One score, 0 to 1000The EDS Asset Score, recorded around the clock
  • Alarms on changeSuch as 5% in 60 minutes on any parameter
  • Sensors to suitLight, moisture, seismic and temperature
  • The right people toldOn-site managers and key stakeholders

A structure can change condition faster than an annual inspection will catch. EDS has worked with Australia’s largest industries to deliver detailed condition reports on critical assets, and offers a complete product and service solution for reporting that condition in real time.

At its heart is the patent pending EDS Asset Score (EAS): one number from 0 to 1000, recorded around the clock, that tells you how a structure is doing and whether it’s changing. When something shifts, subtly or suddenly, the people responsible hear about it as soon as possible.

Every client’s solution is different, from buildings to hydraulic assessments. For one government asset, EDS installed a combination of light, moisture, seismic and temperature sensors across critical structure points, providing 24/7 monitoring and asset evaluation.

The score’s history can also raise alarms on a trigger you set. If any monitored parameter moves more than 5% in 60 minutes, say, on-site managers and key stakeholders are alerted.

How the EDS Asset Score works

Sensors chosen for the structureLight, moisture, seismic and temperature sensors, or whatever combination the asset needs, placed at critical structure points.
One score from 0 to 1000EDS algorithms combine the readings into a single score of condition and change, recorded around the clock.
Alarms on changeTriggers set on the score’s history, such as any monitored parameter moving more than 5% in 60 minutes.
The right people toldOn-site managers and key stakeholders alerted as soon as possible to adverse or subtle change.

Where it applies

  • Buildings and critical structures
  • Government and corporate assets
  • Hydraulic assessments
  • Facilities managed under an EDS facility management service

Try it

One number from 0 to 1000, drawn from light, moisture, seismic and temperature sensors across the structure. Simulate a change and watch the alarm rule respond.

StableNo change beyond 5% in the last 60 minutes.

An illustration only. The EAS algorithms are patent pending and are not reproduced here.
