LIDoTT ALARM is a level measurement and alarm device which integrates the level sensor, battery, modem and Detectronic's unique Neptune antenna into one compact device. It alerts users to changes in wastewater depth, enabling utilities to react quickly to blockages and to surcharges caused by sewer collapses.
Continuous measurement and alarm deliveryAlarm threshold set-points are configured on site during installation, and a "return to normal" message is sent when levels fall back below the threshold. Level sampling can be set to 5 or 15 minutes, and a daily heartbeat message verifies the sensor is operational. Logging at 15 minute intervals is available as an option.
Designed for convenienceLIDoTT ALARM is simple to install and zero maintenance by design. The enclosure is moulded from a resilient, naturally self-cleaning polymer and is submersible.
Widespread deploymentIdeal for deployment throughout sewer networks and in domestic or lateral sewers, and suitable for other water courses. It offers up to three configurable level states, for example normal, high and high-high (green, amber, red), and keeps reporting status as levels return to normal.
Easy to mountThe LIDoTT laser pointer is clipped onto the fixing pole during installation to identify the measurement target. Once marked, the LIDoTT ALARM replaces the pointer and locks into place. The assembly is easily removed and replaced in exactly the same position.
Data communicationsCommunicates using NB-IoT / Cat M1 with 2G fallback. Each breached threshold triggers an alarm message with the current level, both going high and returning to normal. Alarms are delivered via Detectronic Cloud by SMS, email and website, with GIS options and optional weather-managed alarm filtering.
